Re: What is your MPG?

Went on a small 251 mile trip on Saturday and had my best tank since I purchased it last April, 19.5 mpg!!! Granted it was just my wife and I in the car and used cruise control most of the trip and it was mostly flat without any large hills or mountains. Anyway I am happy. 2009 XE AWD with 66,000 miles on it had 52,500 last April.

Re: What is your MPG?

Went to our cabin over the weekend and used 93 octane to fill up the tank which only took 10 gallon's. 330 miles later got 20.7 mpg and used cruise as much as possible. Going to start using higher octane before every trip. Keeps getting better.

Re: What is your MPG?

I drive a mix of city and highway every day, 12 miles of each to/from work, I get an average 14.5 MPG... not so great.
Best I have done on flat highway is 17 MPG with no A/C running and cruise control on doing 65 MPH. Again not real good, and not even close to the supposed 17/22 this vehicle is supposed to get. Summer blend fuel runs much smoother, winter blend fuel makes it run rougher and milage suffers. Cold tempatures kill fuel economy even more! Hot days in the summer, with A/C off gets the best fuel economy...

I usually got 18 mixed. On a trip I could get as high as 24 until I got to the mountains, then it drops to 18. I usually kept my speed under 65 but that doesn't seem to matter, lately 70 has been the same mpg as 65. 2008 XR 189,500 miles.
