So my 2008 outlook AWD XR wouldn’t start one morning so I had it towed to the dealer. They told me the timing chain had failed and when that happens it’s best to replace the engine. Prior to this failure I was getting warning lights to service stabilitrack and traction control. I just had the engine replaced 2 days ago with a brand new crate engine from Frazier Engine. Soon as I pulled out of the lot my breaks seemed to be rubbing so I called the shop and the mechanic said it was because it had sat for awhile. I drive a few more miles and now a new notification I’d never seen the ABS light was on then it told me my AWD was off and my ABS was firing on its own while I was driving? When I drove it yesterday same thing ABS going haywire on more than one wheel. Is there something the mechanic could have crossed up or left disconnected? Just spent $6,000 and didn’t expect to get 1/4 mile off the lot to have more problems.
