Hatch problems

I am wondering if anyone else has experienced problems with the hatch. In December 2007, I had to take my 07 Outlook in for a new electronic latch, the other one failed for an unexplained reason. Today, the hatch has no power, it does not stay up on it's own.

I am interested to know if anyone else has had this problem.

Thanks

Re: Hatch problems

I purchased an 08 XR Outlook less than a month ago. The week after I bought it the power lift gate quit working. I took it in and they had to order a new modula of some kind. Took it in yesterday to get it replaced got home and it is not working again. Apparently they think something might be shorting it out. The car only has 6k miles on it. I sure hope this isn't a continual problem. I have to take it back to the dealership today to get looked at again.

Any suggestions?
