How can I get my oil filter off?

OK, so I have tried 3 different types of wrenches to get the oil filter off and I've been unsuccessful. I do have the cap type head that will fit the oil filters that go onto the Outlook, but will not fit the original oil filter that is on my outlook. It's hard to get down there with any type of wrench and get any leverage.

What types of wrenches have you guys used to get the original factory oil filter off?

Thanks

I used a strap filter wrench the first time, my hand from there on out.

I have been using K&N oil filters they are a snap to get off just use a one inch open end wrench makes it real easy.
