My thoughts exactly; I always know when I get the Acadia on the road she will pull 20-22 mpg so I drive her easy in the city and usually get ~15-16

Same here on the OUTLOOK, now my VUE gets really bad mileage in town like 13/14 but kills it on the highway 25+'ish.

So it seems that GM vehicles are geared out for the open road; I am a little suprised your VUE doesn't do better around town; that's a 4 or a 6 cylinder

3.5 V6 That's when GM put Honda drivetrains in the VUE's . I took it to a Honda dealer once and said "can you work on my Vue if I need it?" They looked at me like, no we only work on Honda's and Acura's, I said you'll want to see this . He said yep it's one of ours......duh I keep my foot in the gas a little bit, it sounds good and it blows the other ricers away . Oh ya it's all polymer body panels, so no weight. The OUTLOOK gets driven nice and easy, no hot rodding there .

Interesting; so maybe your "foot in the gas" drives down your mileage

Ya, I'm sure it does. 250HP in that little SUV is fun once in a while .
