I have not heard anyone mention these...
they are a new luxury performance tire designed for CUVs- and their most fuel efficient tire yet...

AND it comes in 255/65R- 18 which is exactly what the 18's are on the Traverse/Acadia/Enclave/Outlook
They are made by Toyo tires. Its the VERSADO CUV - 18" replacement tire- (OE Fitment).

When it comes time to replace my tires- I will most likely go with these.
Recently replaced the Goodyears on my 2007 Impala- with Toyo tires- Extensa's I think.
On the drive home- I kept looking for a large truck next to me- I could hear the low rumble from their exhaust... Not vehicles around me. Turns out the rumble was MY dual exhaust!!!!!!
WHAT A DIFFERENCE.
3 yrs after owning the car--- I finally HEARD the factory Dual exhaust on the car- the tires made less noise- that I could finally heard the exhaust.

Hope this new find helps you out....

I heard that they are pretty nice. I think mikemu on the ACADIA Froum has them and loves them. My Forterras suck! I can't wait for them to wear out (probably sooner than later) so I can get a new set, something that last's longer than 30K (if I'm lucky) and alot more quiet.

I like the look of the Toyo tires Versado or the Open Country. Look like a nice quiet tread design with good water evacuation. I've seen Open Country on some M-Class CUV's. Not sure if they were OE or not.

I noticed Cooper has a CS4 Touring P255/65r18 for the Outlook (roughly $129.00 at Treaddepot.com as of 12/13/10) has anyone tried these yet? I've also seen that there is now a Hankook Verntus AS RH07 P255/65r18 at TireRack.com as well anyone using this tire?
Yep and they are still a good set tires after 10,000 miles. I can't wait to see how the toyo's do.

I have 37k on mine and still have 7/32 of tread. I do not drive like a Grandma either... They do okay for me in the snow, what are your gripes about them?

mine are loud, really after a tire rotation and are wearing too fast, I'm at 28K and over 1/2 gone  but I guess that's better than some.

I have the Cooper CS4 touring tires on my Outlook and I really like the look of them. Not the quietest tire out there, but they are smooth. My wife really likes them. I hope to get more life out of them than the Goodyear tires we had on our Acadia. I just hope when I have to replace them I can afford new tires. I have the large 19" tires and can only image what they are going to cost.

I also put the Cooper CS4s on - bought from tires-easy and had them shipped to an installer. I had over 50k on the GoodYears but they wined and wobbled the last 15k miles no matter what I did. These are much quieter and where much cheaper. Happy so far with about 8k on them.

Thanks for the info. Are they priced better than the Goodyears?

I really dont know what I'm going to do, I'd like to find a set of 19" OE wheels (actually I have for $549.00, set of 4 with center caps) and go that route because I like the looks of the 19's but it is hard to justify the cost on top of new tires. IDK we'll see I guess :-\

I am looking to get the GYs off our 2008 Outlook, had enough of them, and came across these Bridgestone Dueler H/L 422 Ecopia
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires...SR8HL422&vehicleSearch=false&fromCompare1=yes.

Going to have to take a serious look at these, I was thinking either Michelin or Nitto, but I have had Bridgestone in the past and they were a great tire. They are in our OEM size.
Looks like a nice tire, not as aggressive looking as the Forterras, kind of like the GY RSA's.

These are the tires that are replacing the OE Forteras for me (now at about 47k miles). Hopefully I will have them installed this week.

Yikes! And I am at 47k. This may explain the noisy and a bit bumpy ride I am experiencing.
Exactly, I forgot to say that was 34K with regular tire rotations too, I'm glad those loud, bumbpy GY's are gone!

How can you guys stand the road noise and hard ride from the Forterras with that many miles on them?

#26 ·
We put some miles on the new tires (college visit, Purdue :)) and they are nice, smooth and quiet. Now I can hear all the other noises in the vehicle ::).
