Unhappy Rough idle, 08 Saturn Outlook

Engine light on, currently running intermittently rough at an idle, so much so that the steering vibrates. Our GM mechanic says it is the timing again, but we have had the timing changed 3 times, derailleurs, injectors, ECM, manifold set, plugs, computer assembly, coils and actuator's. all in less then a yr. we no sooner get it back and the engine light comes on again. we have had 3 checks on the timing and it is spot on all three time. I cannot see new timing kit again, it has to be something different. 08, Saturn Outlook XR, ZER23748J272717, mileage 110,205, Need help as I now have more into repairs then the car is worth. GM refuses to give any assistance, they just say "Sorry", me too, don't think we will ever buy another GM product (love the Outlook, hate the engine).

this is a gremlin infested vehicle. unless you are a professional mechanic, technician stay away.

gm has created a nightmare.

the vehicle is too complex and difficult to diagnose accurately.
service traction control and service stabilitrak can mean almost anything.

Ruff idle

I just bought a 2008 outlook with 200050 miles on it. The body and frame are rust free. It's had the timing chains replaced. It's been taken care of but had a ruff idle. I had never used sea foam until now. I bought a can of the oil and fuel treatment and followed the directions. The oil was just changed and very clear. Dumped in 5 oz of the sea foam and ran it for about 100 miles. The oil was black. I changed out the oil again and dumped the rest of the sea foam in the gas tank. My ruff idle is gone and the engine sounds so much better.
