Converting Turn Signals to 3157?

Hey everyone...

I replaced my front turn signal bulbs with LED bulbs that I found on eBay. To this day, they are the ONLY LED bulbs that I can find in 12272NA. The bulbs that I installed were horrible quality, so I ended up sending them back to the seller and getting my money back. I still want the front turn signals as LED's, so I was thinking about getting 4 3157 sockets and usung a Dremel tool to very carefully cut the shape of one of the sockets, so that I will be able to use 3157 bulbs.

Does this sound like a feasible idea, or should I keep looking for more 12272NA LED bulbs (I won't find any)?
