Did anyone else receive the 1yr free maintenance email? I'm wondering if any Saturn authorized service provider will honor the offer.

I actually got the offer in the mail from my local authorized dealer (1 year of oil changes/tire rotations), got it about 2 weeks ago. I change my own oil, and rotate tires myself... So, maybe I'll use it if I don't have time to do the service myself...

Got mine the other day as well. According to the fine print the "Saturn authorized dealer" will do the oil, rotate and inspecting and that dealership will get reembursed by GM corperatefor the work. I don't think that they will refuse to honor it. I will find out here in about 2 weeks when I am due for that oil change.

I did finally get the "snail" mail a few days ago. I saw the fine print and just called my local "Saturn authorized dealer" and they confirmed they would honor it. It's nice to not have to travel 40 miles to the dealer any more. I guess there are some good things about Saturn shutting down.

I decided that with some free time off from work I would go to the dealer and try out that voucher. They took one glance at it and signed it dated it and an hour and a half later I was out the door with the free oil change and inspection. :thumb:
