[/color] I wonder if there will be a 2010 Outlook? They probably have alot of 08's and 09's still left on the lots, as a matter of fact the last time I drove by LDT which was the end of Dec 08' the staging area for the 3 Lambda's looked packed, so if GM has not sold or closed Saturn by the time the 010's come out maybe there will be a 010 Outlook, I hope. ;) I know our dealer only has 2 09's left on the lot, dont know if they are getting more or not, I would think GM would load them up and cut the $$ on them to move them out, Buick's and GMC's as well.

I would be very suprised to see a 10. With the cost cutting measures they are doing and the fact that Saturn is going to either be revamped or sold, I doubt they are going to put money into a new Outlook. In fact, I would not be suprised to see them drop on of the other 3, like the Enlave. The Traverse (the new bread and butter) looks too close to the Enlcave so why have 2. Besides there is still the possibility of a Cadillac version in the next year or two.

But.... I would still love to see an next generation Outlook, but I won't get my hopes up.

Does anyone know of any external differences between the 09 and 10 Outlook?

I don't think there is to be honest with you. If it is I can't tell the difference. Heck you can't tell the difference between an 07 and 09 or 10 physically anyway. Except for the headlight. Speaking of which how come I can't get the same type of Xenon headlights(i think that's what they are) that's on the XR for my XE?

I've seen a 10 OUTLOOK and could tell no difference in the headlight. What are you seeing? Maybe a pic?

I'm not quite sure what kind of headlights they are, but they are only equipped on XRs. If I knew what they were I'd tell you :-[

Maybe its like on some of the Traverses.. (like 09's).
the LS, LT1,LT2 have the typical headlights...
but the LTZ had the Halogen Projectors (NON HID). ???

The saturns could have had a similar setup

HID headlights were an option on the XR and was *not* available on the XE. Check the service label in the glove box for the RPO code "TVD", this was "Headlamps, High Intensity Discharge (HID) projector low and high beam" per the Saturn Outlook Print Book.

When I first looked at the Outlook XR, the projector lens design made me think that it had HID. But that was (sadly) untrue. It's halogen as a standard with a projector lens.

However there's always aftermarket! So you can go that route if you really want HID. Checkout the sponsor section of this board (XenonDepot). ;)

I know it's far fetched but I really want them "halo" projector headlights like the one's seen on the camaros and bmws and mercedes. I've checked quite a few after markets websites and had no success. :'(

I have *yet* to see that in action on any Lambda. But hey, I know what ya mean and sure would make your Outlook stand-out from all others. That kind of thing won't exist unless there's a market for the manufacturers to sell to. So, your first order of operation would be to contact an after market lighting manufacturer and see if they've got some kind of a beast that mimics the BMW style of halo reflector light. Won't get unless you ask for it right? I bid you good luck on your search, but am skeptical such an item exists.

BUT IT WOULD BE COOL LOOKIN' 8) 8) 8)

<maybe that's a job for California Customs or Unique Auto>
