I got the base radio. I notice it has a function key for XM because when I press it it says XM not available.

Question is can I add the XM module to this radio? I am hopeful that they will merge with Sirius or I can eventually get a Sirius module.

But, my 2007 Mustang GT came with Sirius, and I know on the Mustang Forums folks have figured out how to add the module to get Sirius added after the fact if it didn't come installed from the factory. I am sure the same thing will happen with the Outlook. Right now the Outlook is just so new, and the community so small that no one has probably bothered to actually try and see what it would take. Anything is possible if you are willing to spend enough money. Maybe you can be the first. :thumb:

It can be done becuase I've done it. Do a search for the "outlook xm direct" on ebay you'll find the kit it runs about $200. When I bought it back in april it had a glitch but it has now been fixed. I actually should be receiving my updated module by wed. You have 2 options just the xm kit or xm and ipod.

That's great info, you should go to the link I posted and share that info, as anyone that views that link will think it can't be done.

I guess I really want Sirius I decided. I suppose I will need an aftermarket kit....that really sucks...

My XM just expired....Oh well...I guess the radio, my IPOD and CD will do for now... hno:
