How do I remove the brake rotors? I have the pads off, the bracket that holds the pads, and the screw (near the lugs) out of the rotor; but rotors will not budge.
When I did mine, I had to use a BFH and hit them off from the rear. I wasn't gonna reuse my rotors so I didn't care about damage to the rotor itself. If your gonna reuse the rotors, protect them somehow and go slowly around the outside to loosen it up. It will come off once you overcome the rust holding them on.
HEAT, use a cutting torch with a rosebud tip to warm then up, them pursuade with a BFH and a block of hardwood like oak if you want to save the rotors..
