I bought a 2008 Saturn Oulook a few weeks ago and haven't gotten around to getting it in for repair of a broken hood release inside the car. Yesterday, after using the car, I stupidly forgot my key in the car, left it in the accessory position, so the battery is ALL the way down. I can't get the fricking hood open and I need to charge the battery back up.

And the key is stuck in the ignition, too.

Any ideas? ANY help would be appreciated.

The battery is inside the vehicle behind the passenger seat, under a cover on the floor.

which means----- the 'good' news is he can call AAA or similar to open his door with a slim jim or whatever those things are called and charge the battery by removing the cover....

he wont have to hassle with figuring out how to open the hood to get to the battery
