While the Acadia & Outlook are very quiet under most circumstances, the Buick is even quieter. It has an acustic laminated windshield (the reason why HUD is not offered) and laminated side window glass, in addition to more sound insulation. Even little things like the leather were designed in part to help absorb noise. The leather seats are perforated which helps to let the leather "breathe" in hot summer months and also helps absorb noise in the cabin. The Enclave also uses specially designed Michelen tires which are supposed to help with road noise (the Acadia/Outlook use Goodyears I believe). After driving the new Enclave back to back w/ an Acadia, the difference was noticable, especially at freeway speeds or on broken pavement.
