I think they also use audio sound deadening technology in Buicks similar to that used in noise cancelling headphones - essentially the car monitors constant low level droning sounds and broadcasts an audio frequency exactly opposite to cancel the noise. I may be mistaken, but I thought that is what I had read somewhere.
