i have a broken rt side manual fold mirror and was wondering if you can replace with a power fold even though i don't have that option. i'm trying to replace mirror with one that is already painted to match color of outlook. the only one that i can find is a power folding one. the seller said his computer said that it is incompatible. the only difference that i can see is that the power folding has an additional plug. please help. thanks

What model year is your Outlook?
Are you driving an XE model with the black side mirrors? If you replaced one that is body color matching; what about the other side. Also I'm not sure the plug is there for the power folding option; and then comes the question of how are you going to power fold the mirror without the switches.

i have a 2007 outlook xr. there is no switch for power folding, but when i look on ebay at both power and manual fold the only difference that i can see is that the power fold has an additional plug. i was hoping that the mirror would still work if the additional plug wasn't plugged in. anyone with an answer would be greatly appreciated. thanks.
