Carbon flash same as Charcoal?? ???[/color]

Close, but not exactly. Charcoal was a dark metallic grey color, discontinued after 2007. In 08, it was replaced by Carbon Flash, which is a few shades darker. Not quite true black, but closer to black than Charcoal was.

Charcoal also had three visible shades to it. From certain angles and strengths of sunlight a silver and reddish brown hue could be seen in the blackish color.

Thanks for the info! Looks black to me, and yes there is some depth to the color, like shiny black flecks...Will be looking for the reddish brown shade now....
I asked because OnStar has recorded my car as Charcoal, and it annoys me that in my emails my car is grey....
