It was pretty easy, you just need an 11 mm socket for the drain plug and a drain pan , it still looked fairly pink, it was changed out at 10K because of the torque converter hub seal leaking. Now at 34K. I wanted to do it every 25K anyways so I just went and did it 1000 miles short and because it was beautiful out today. I used Dex VI and it took about 4.8 qts or so.

No he didn't get it all out, but its better than leaving it in for 100K. The system takes about 8.5 quarts or so so a little over half with just a drain and fill.

No, not all out but about half like medic said, you know it's cheap enough that I might just do it again after I drive it a while just to get it good. I bought Car Quest brand (GM Dexron VI license # J-60323 and meets GM spec GMN10060) of Dexron VI and was $4.35/qt.

Do you think you got all of it out? I was thinking of changing to an AMSOil product but didn't want to mix. I know, that and everything else will void the warranty....

If it has a GM license # and meets GM spec you are good.

You just fill it from the top where the dipstick goes. I used a long funnel.
