No other lights are having problems.... Dealer said that it would cost me 400 - 600 just to look at it to see if they could find the problem. I said forget it. Once in a while I get to see what it says. lol

Now, I'm driving yesterday and the car says to turn off the stab/trak... It wasn't on. Then it say that I need to change my oil... Was not needed...then it says engine power low... Then it says car is over heating. All within 5 min. I had a hard time trying to keep it running so that I could get off the road. Car was jerking REALLY bad. What next? Of course its out of warranty, just over 60K. Had AAA tow it to Chev. dealer. Worried its gonna cost a fortune.

Sounds like the waterpump went bad and it overheated, or the timing chain is stretched. If it overheated, the change oil light will come on because the oil will act as a coolant and try to remove some of the excess heat from the engine. This theoretically ruins the oil and so it should be changed. The light was telling you it turned off the stab/trac because of performance problems from the engine. It also reduced the engine power to protect the engine.

The power train warranty is good for 100000 miles or 5 years, so hopefully the in original in service date was after 04/03/2007. If the timing chain is bad, that has a special extension on the 2007 models for 10 years or 120000 miles.

Let us know what you find out.

I can understand your concern with your situation. I would have to agree with ls973800 about the warranty information he has provided to you. If the technicians diagnose this as something that will fall under the Powertrain warranty you should be covered. However, you will want to find out the expiration date of the Powertrain warranty. It seems that you are good with the mileage, but you might be out on time frame. If you are out by time frame, find out how long ago it expired.
