Hi,

Finally warmed up enough here to be able to swap out my winter tires. Replaced my front brakes and rotors for the first time and while I took plenty of time to do so I got the job done.

Noticed a tiny bit of play in one of my end links. Decided to take it off and inspect but when I loosened the top nut it just seemed to spin forever without moving up the end of the bolt. Is there a trick to getting this off? There doesn't seem to be a nut or any other fastener on the other side so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.

Anyone out there removed these before?

Depending on the end link design, there is either a hex head on the other side that you'll have to grab with an end wrench, or the threaded section will have a small hex on the nut side that you have to hold (8 or 9mm), and then turn the nut with an end wrench.

If you can change brake pads, you can do this no problem! Make sure to get heavy duty end links - Moog's are a good brand.

I also recommend replacing the end links with Moog. They have grease fittings.
