I have had enough of the water leaks! Had another one today, drove straight to the GMC dealer and traded in for an 09 SLT2 Acadia. Will still be a part of this site as we still have the Aura.

The simple fact that Saturn is not in my town anymore and the closest one is a sham of a dealership along with the 2 years of water leaks made me change. I still love the Lambda as I got another even with the dual sunroof (no leaks on the 09's and we have had heavy rain all day).

I know it's been a while since you had the drain tube work done on yours (Outlook) I thought that you had only 2 instances with it leaking and 1 of those was by leaving the sunroof open and it got clogged with leaves, I dont know as I cant remember all the leak issues on this board as I had enough of them myself on the 07". Where is it leaking from this time and have you had rain in the meantime with no leaks? Did you tell the GMC dealer about it leaking this time and what did they say?

Before my dealer closed in February and when they fixed it all last spring I had no leaks that were not my fault. They did all the work on the TSB sent out in 07. The new dealer in Lubbock (owned by the same guy) insisted on doing the recall even though I had no more problems.

They did the tube change out but just shoved all the tubes up in the roof pinching off and creating dips in the tubes causing it to leak with the snow two weeks ago. The GMC dealer fixed all that again. It appears the the pinching might have made some holes in the tubes and that combined with water coming in at a good clip throught the sunroof (something that I never noticed before[passenger side front and back of window])it overwhelmed the drains. When the stains started coming all the old stains reappeared pushing me over the limit.

Not having a descent Saturn dealer in town anymore I choose to go with the localy owned GMC dealer. He deals mostly with repeat farmers and ranchers and is well respected in the area. They treated me well and worked with me on the price. I feel I got a better vehicle with more options except for the HUD which I didn't want anyway. Looks the same as far as color goes except for the black instead of blue with the grey. My wife always liked the look of the Acadia anyway.

I will still hang around here if people keep posting. I still like GM and the old Saturn.

I have a similar problem going with a 2007 XR Outlook. The tubes apparently stop up and water drips/runs into the front right floorboard. Where do you find the sunroof drain tubes and how can they be cleaned out? thanks! :help:

The drain tubes are above the headliner but the clogging usually happens in the drain lines down in the pillars. You have to remove the headliner to get to them. Cost is about 200 to have the dealer do it, which I would recommend.
