We just purchased this XE.
So far we love the vehicle but it has two issues.
First is in the steering, It clicks when in the steering column when turning.
Second is the gremlin > The a/c fan in the back section of the vehicle turn on intermittently after the vehicle has been turned off.

The clicking steering column is a common problem and can be handled by the dealer. The rear A/C fan operation is puzzling; does your 08 have sunroofs?

I think Ive read a post or 2 of the fan coming on in the rear- after vehicle is off.

My steering column was clicking, the technician found a TSB about it. Something about loose rivets, they replaced the steering column under warranty.
