I broke my hood deflector this weekend trying to clean under it. It snapped off at the screws under the hood. I learned my lesson but promptly ordered a new one from Getsaturnparts.com. They cancelled my order and said there was a recall. Does anyone have some information on this? It is the same hood deflector and part # as the Acadia.

I am looking for a replacement for the OEM that uses the existing holes. '

Old Hickory Trojan: Where do the self tapping screws go in? Under the hood on the flange? Also can you post a picture of your Bugflector II? I would like to see how it looks compared to the OEM.

Thanks!!

Hello,

I also purchased the hood deflector for my 07 OUTLOOK XR and had the dealer install it. It had some cosmetic flaws on it so they are going to replace no problem when Saturn redesigns it. Owners are reporting that it is messing up the outside temp reading. Have you heard anything like that?

SOooooooo has anything else been done with these deflectors ?

Any actual conflict with the temp. sensor or was that just rumour ?

Up here dealership (prime) has the solid over-the-lip style, and attach with (stock?) underhood screws. the plastic baggie was marked with "Perfect Fit"

As i mentioned on the other forum i did not notice any rubber do-hickkies to keep it from bouncing/chattering onto the hodd Any wear marks on the hood lip paint ?

thanks for any info,

doug c
