Specifically the center dash speaker under the grill and the two in the third row of an '08 XE.

There is a thread on here regarding installing a NAV system. The poster includes step by step pictures that show how to take apart the dash and reach the center speaker. Search for that thread and you'll be 1/3rd of the way there! :thumb:

Well look at that, I found it! Two points for me.

You may be able to skip some of the steps if it is only the speaker. Couple screws in the flip-top storage bin, and then the surrounding retainer tabs. Good luck!

the Traverse is similar to the Outlook.

My Traverse didnt have 3rd row speakers- but I added some- including tapping into the 2nd row wiring..

Wow how did you get the high end radio with an xe?? I always thought the high end radio with all the speakers only came in an xr. I have an xe and only have 4 door speakers.

Anyone gone in and changed the Sub? It looks like you need to take the center consol apart??? Just wondering. I would like to start replacing my speakers because they are getting that old stock muffled sound to them...
