:blob: Well, it's finally time to announce: LDT (Lansing Delta Township assembly plant) tour and forum meet for this year, 2013.... will be Friday, June 28th at 9am.
The Delta plant is allowing us to do another tour for our forum members here, and their guests. They are allowing a max number of 25 for the tour, so please book your spot (here with me, either in this thread, or a PM to me thru this forum) as soon as you can commit to coming, and let me know how many in your party. Of course I'm going, and it will be just me as of now, so there are 24 more spots available.
Rules are as follows; any children attending have to be 12 and over, no open toed shoes, no shorts (new rule), no photos inside the plant. (if any additional rules come along that I'm not aware of now , I will post them asap). This is a walking tour thru the plant, usually takes between 1 and 2 hrs, if my memory serves me correctly.
I can provide hotel information to those who need it. This year I will post hotels in the area, and you may choose and book at your convenience. (I will get this put together soon)
Looking forward to hearing who all is interested in attending, this will be fun. :thumb: Both other years we had a great turn out, and forum members enjoyed meeting each other, and seeing the Lambda vehicles coming down the line at the assembly plant. We didn't have a tour last year, mostly because we were waiting till the 2013's were being made. Now, at the time of the tour, the 2014's should be coming down the line.
So, mark your calendars, PM or post here when you know you can come, and how many, and I will look forward to getting all the rest of the details organized.
