[Rochester outlook]

Hi all. THis is my first post. I just got my wife a 2007 outlook xr. It has xm Delete. How hard is it to add xm. Can it be added to the existing radio. It has the 10 speaker premium audio system and the radio has a cd player and dvd player.

If you can tune it to xm channel 0 and get the radio id number you can call xm, give them the number and then get service.

There is no xm button so there is no way to get it to channel 0.

I believe you would need to get a new radio as well as the XM antenna/module installed. Your vehicle was formally a fleet or rental vehicle.

So the XM Delete was on the paperwork? If so yes you would have to get a new unit and antenna. Wiring for it may still be there. Cheapest way would be to buy an external radio, I would think.

Yes the window sticker actually says xm delete.
Does anyone know which nav radio part number will work. I might just get one of those off ebay.

I normally sell this to dealers for vehicles with out XM installed. You may want to contact them to see if this is the exact piece you need but I think it is. Then you buy the SCC1 tuner and you are good to go. http://pac-audio.com/productDetails.aspx?ProductId=896&CategoryID=47

I already had a Samsung Helix when I bought the Outlook. Enjoy it much more because it can record from XM *and* play MP3s!
