Hello all,
Picked up our 2008 Cocoa XR yesterday . We were actually the first ones at this dealer (Fort Wayne, Indiana) to change to aftermarket rims. They are actually Saturn's 19 Chrome rims. The manager said that they ordered a new "sway bar" that needs beefed up due to the heavier rims. Has anyone heard of this? BTW...the new rims look awesome!!! (I know...thread is worthless without pics...I plan on it in the future)

Also, I picked up the front floor mats (black/rubber/Outlook logo) and the rear cargo mat. The manager also said that Saturn will probably redesign the second row mat due to too many complaints and advised not to get it now (fit issues). Anyone else hear about this or have the mats? I am really impressed with the rear cargo mat...it has 3 "bends" in it to cover when in the different positions of the 3rd row, and also says "Outlook" when you open the hatch.

I am totally impressed with the Outlook :thumb:

Yes, If you get the touring package from the factory it has an upgraded suspension for the larger tires
Exactly, and because of that, if you go from the standard 18" wheels to any of the accessory choices, part of the deal is a beefier roll bar.

Yeah, that's what I figured. I added the 19" rims/wheels from Saturn (actually have the Saturn logo center caps). The floor mats just threw me for a loop...I love the quality though of the two front mats and cargo mat. I would highly suggest purchasing the cargo mat for any Outlook owner :)

My Dealer's Parts Department told me that the cargo mat had been recalled for splitting at the seems between the three sections and that they were attempting to fix the problem. He also said next time I was in for service to check to see if they had corrcted the problem with him and he's gladly get me one. Has the problem been corrected or are these the "problem" mats?

My dealer said that the cargo mat is fine now...I haven't had any problems, although I've only had it a few weeks. The second row mat is the biggest problem for people...not fitting well I guess. Any suggestions for second row mats?

if your looking for rubber mats you might want to look at AutoAnything on the web. They have some rubber mats that cover the opening between the second and third row on Outlooks with captains chairs. I've read some nice things about these mats from posters on various Acadia, Enclave, outlook forums about a nice fit. Don't know if they would do the job as well as weathertech or not. They aren't priced too high and ship free when ordering from their site..and today are offering a 10% discount on orders over $150. I'm considering ordering their hood bug deflector rahter then the OEM but wanted it clear and they only have smoke on thier site right now.
