So we picked up our new 08 XR FWD Outlook on Saturday 9/1/07. We had special ordered it back in July. On Friday Sept 14 my husband and I went to Trader Joes to pick up something for dinner. The parking lot really is horrible and well as we were leaving someone backed into us. So with only 365 miles on our brand new 13 day old Outlook it is off to the shop for 2 weeks and $2800 worth of damage to be repaired. Our dual exhaust system will have to be replaced as well as the bumper and rear side bumper panel.
I am just glad my husband was driving and not me, since the insurance ruled this as a no fault on either party. By the way the back up sensors didn't go off until she basically hit us (she backed up at an angle so she was not directly behind us).
