If anyone has any OnStar related questions feel free to ask me, I work for OnStar.
Thank's for the help. When I used it I asked for a specific route ( scenic) The operator said thet they could not do that, only the most direct way. They also said that if I took my own route off the one that was programed that it would steer me back. Why can't this be done?Boltbacker said:If anyone has any OnStar related questions feel free to ask me, I work for OnStar.
The advisors can do 2 different types of routes, the most direct, or safest. If you tell the advisor you would like to stay away from freeways they should be able to use the scenic route as long as both roads can get you to your destination. Soon they will be able to route you on any road or way you would like but that won't be until June, July timeframe. Hope this helps.BARRY said:Thank's for the help. Well that depends on what radio that you change it with, there is a wire harness that needs to be plugged into after market radios in order for it to be compatible with the OnStar system. You will have to check the specific radio you are looking to replace the Factory one with.morpheus2969 said:Thanks for offering your expertise.
Will changing the stock radio have any affect on the OnStar system?
