More recent than other posts -
I have a 2008 Outlook XR w/153,500 miles and have never had a problem until now - On a recent trip my car overheated, had steam/vapor coming out fron the engine compartment and got all the associated messages until I could get out of the highway and to a service station - Let it cool and added coolant - Technician indicated, without putting it up on a lift, it could be the water pump leaking - Was able to continue to destination approx 250 miles by adding coolant once more - what is the approximate replacement cost? Could it be hoses/clamps? What else could it be?? Any suggestions??
