HI All,

Has anyone taken their Outlook and tested their AWD via Snow? Good experience/Bad experience. Does it handle well? I cannot test it out Until winter here in CA. I have to drive to the Mountains (Lake Tahoe), but will have to wait.

Thanks for any info and/or shared experiences...

I just bought my Outlook on Saturday 12-01-07 when the Midwest got snow and it was a blast it was just under a foot of snow so it wasn't that much but it also was freezing rain and snow so we had ice, 1. It has great traction I was running the drifts to see how it handled and it was going through just like my Tahoe 4x4 would no issues at all. 2. Handled the ice great as well. Now I can't wait for our 08 winter storms we get in the Midwest. >:D

Click-it, is your OUTLOOK a FWD or AWD? What kind of tires do you have on it? Does it have the touring pkg?

Hi, we just got 2 feet of snow in Montreal and my Outlook XE AWD is great. I tried to make it shift but it stay straight all the time. I'm just not used with the ABS, it takes longer time to stop but still straight. I have the original tires and probably change them for winter tires to have better control on ice. I just need to find some winter rims 18". They don't exist here yet!

my XE AWD handles great in the snow and ice. when the stop lights turn green and you hit the gas its like driving on a clear road almost. changeing lanes with the snow/slush in between the lanes wasnt a problem either.

Columbus, OH got a few inches of wet snow, slush and ice yesterday. I was driving comfortably fast on the freeway that had limited treatment done to it. The wife told me to slow down, but I felt cofident, and we are FWD, not AWD.

Northern Indiana got around 10" + or - an inch and lots of snow drifts, I think I'll keep the Outlook in the garage but I might take the 97' 4WD Blazer out for some fun! ;D
