*update* I went out to move it a little and it almost would'nt start and would'nt go forward or reverse, it's running really bad. I'm going to have to get towed to the dealer.

Well crap! :banghead:

I can't believe it you just got it back from the dealer working on it. What are the odds? :mope:
I dont know what the odds are but it's starting to upset the waters around here :angryfire:, well I guess just me. If it's timing chain related I know for sure it's NOT because the oil never got changed, it be because of substandard parts! If it's computer related or coil related I'll feel better about it. I dont trust the OUTLOOK, I trust my '05 VUE 100 times more and even trust the '08 SIERRA I just bought one month ago 100 times more right now ( I feel like I've had it since new, it just feels right)(I had the OUTLOOK since new and that right now really does'nt feel right :-\). When this thing gets fixed it had better stay running good for a While. Last night was the first night since new it has spent outside :sosad:. pouring rain, wind, who knows what else :binky:

hmmm, the 300 is ramdom misfire.
and the 302, 304, 306 are the even cylinders... wonder if its a loose connector...
That's what I'm hoping that they might not have plugged somthing in tightly enough when they did the water pump job. A flatbed came and got it today but the dealer did'nt have time to look at since it happened on Sat and they were not open, he said tomorrow a.m. Hopefully not much fuel got dumped into the oil or worse yet the cats. I'll change the oil just to be sure, it does'nt even have 2K on yet. My local Car Quest let me barrow the OBDII which was an AWESOME tool, I can see it now I'd be plugging that thing in every other day if I had one :-\

GM roadside assistance was pretty slick, this was second time I've used it, I had a flatbed within 1 hr of calling :thumb: They even did a follow up automated phone call to check up on things.

He's leaning towards the cam positioning sensor, will find out more tomorrow :-\

On a positive note, it's not costing me anything other than greif :) The amount a warranty $$ GM has put into my OUTLOOK I'm sure is getting up there :-\. Better them than me.

I'm thinking an extended warranty might be in the cards even though my PT warranty is good for another 2.5 yrs.

What kind of deductable do you have?
Re: P0300,P0302,P0304,P0306 and a flashing CEL

Got it back from the dealership this afternoon and drove it 4 miles back to work, it ran an drove nice. They changed the camshaft positioning sensor 1 of 4 and this one they said was turned a little bit, I not sure what that means but I'll give the part # for it when I get the paperwork. This is the 1st one I've heard of ('09 DI) with this issue. My attitude is a little better when I have it back and in good running condition :)
Re: P0300,P0302,P0304,P0306 and a flashing CEL

Well more good news, now I'm getting code P0430 catalyst below threshold, I'm guessing that when the cam sensor went raw unburned fuel dumped into the cat conv and gummed it up or the o2 sensor behind it unless the ECM shut the injectors off when it knew it was misfiring, I tapped on the cat conv with a rubber mallet and no loose noise inside of it, perfect more time at the dealer. I should note that it runs perfect and smooth, probably better than it did before so go figure :-\

Thanks for the comfort, this ordeal is :bs: for sure!
A couple pics of the "old" cam position senor. It mistakenly got left in the engine bay and I stumbled on it looking around.

well, at least you know they replaced it...
True, and I could see the new one down there when I shined a flashlight on it. So, I got the word that the cat conv for bank two is bad, that's what code P0430 is, should have it back tomorrow. I'll bet it got damaged when it misfired and dumped raw fuel into it.
Got her back, they replaced the cat in the front, looks like a real treat to get to if I say so myself.
I guess it's one of those parts that's small enough it could get left behind if one was focused on getting the new part in.
My '09 has the same as your '10 but I dont think that the third one is a cat conv because there is no O2 sensors before or after it. I may be wrong though.
OK, I think what they are showing in the pic is the converter for the right and one for the left, or for us the front and back. If you look at your pic of the cat conv thing it does'nt have the hanger on it like in the diagram. This thing must be something else.
Now I see it, so they are missing one cat in the diagram.
