After intending to only touch base with our dealership today - we came home with our "new" Outlook.

It is the same one that my wife and I test drove back in April - except with many added options installed by the dealership.

Silver Moss - Tan Interior
Navi
Headrest DVD
Dual Sunroof
Conv, pkg
Enhanced conv pkg
Side step bars, mud flaps - pinstripe.......
HIDs
Trailering pkg
2nd row captains chairs.

We traded in our 03 VUE for it. So far - VERY pleased. Many more options than I had originally planned on purchasing. The sticker price including dealer installed options was 46,984. The dealership honored the price I had observed while deployed during the month of July (month long sale). (37k)

It's going to take my wife and I about a month to figure out how to work everything I think.

Congrats I bought mine a month ago now and am totally pleased. My only dislike was the fact the dealer didnt do recalls before I took it. Make sure you call them with your VIN and ask if there are recalls. This is highly likely as they all almost have a recall to check the tranny for possible roll when in park due to a clip in the gear selector. Secondly if your in Canada or Alaska theres a recall for brake assist.

That is essentially the vehicle that sold us on the Outlook. Saw it at the packet pickup at the Indy Mini Marathon. Sat in it for about a half hour.

Alas, the car was for the wife and she wanted Garnet so we looked all over for a loaded Garnet XR.

I still like the Silver Moss better...

Silver Moss was actually my wife's choice in color :) I have a silver 93 SL2, and we had a silver 03 VUE, she had enough with silver :) So, hey, Silver is still in the name of the color :) Plus I actually like this color better than silver anyway :)

Hey Wingmn,

Congrats again here (I had posted on the other Saturn site). I do like this site which does enable you to jump to the other Lambda sites for info/issues.

Enjoy her and wish you trouble free ownership!

Regards,

Jim

I just picked one up on the 24th of Nov. 2009 Outlook XR, Quicksilver with tow package, b-up camera system and BOSE/NAV-entertainment. My family and I were on our way to Grandma's house for Thanksgiving when we stopped into the local IHOP for breakfast on our way out of town. Not wanting to hop back into the van on full tummmies we walked around the lot at the Saturn dealer next door. After talking with the fella that greated us on the lot (and the sales manager, and the finance manager) we agreed on a price that resulted in them taking off the amount of the factory and dealer installed doptions, accepting a GM Military GO Code, a "Return Saturn Customer" incentive and matching the 3 year 36,000 mile bumper-to-bumper warranty to the 5 year 100,000 powertrain warrenty without paying for a "extended warranty" package. After tax/title/doc fees the out the door price was $123.00 under the sticker amount. All this for 72 month GMAC financing at 0% interest. I also own a 2008 Saturn Sky TURBO Red Line. It is a shame that Saturn will no longer be with us a year from now.

Thanks for reading my story
