Recent delivery times?

We ordered 3 weeks ago. Dealer told us probably 10-12 weeks.

We placed our order 7/17 and were told last week it is scheduled to be built the week of 8/20-25, with an expected delivery the first week of September. At the time we ordered we were told 4-6 weeks...looks like it will be 7, but the dealer said it could "possibly" be in the last week of Aug. (we will be in Disney, so we won't get it until the 1st week in Sept anyway. )

Hope this helps....still seems like delivery times are anywhere from 4-12 weeks.

we ordered ours mid July and it was only last week they confirmed it was being built. We did get the diamond white tricoat so that might have held it up longer. They didn't give us an arrival date yet. I am hoping it gets here soon as my other car's tranny died and we're down to one car. :help:

Apparently, in addition to calling a dealer every now and then, one can call GM/Saturn to ask about status of their respective order by just giving them the order number. Does anyone know this particular GM phone number?

Ordered 7/27.
Order accepted, status 3300 on 8/3.
Changed color to White Diamond Tricoat on 8/10.
Status 3400 (Broadcast, due to be built week of 8/27) on 8/25.
Built and vin # on 8/31.
Hoping for delivery in 10 to 15 days.

Looking like 6 to 7 weeks for mine.

Call again. Some of the reps will help you, others will not.

We ordered ours mid-July, and received it September 14th :cheers:
Whenever we called the dealer, it seemed like that could just confirm the build week, and customer service through Saturn was useless.

Good luck and hopefully you receive word soon!

My dealer says he doesn't have the "status code" but the order is "at the factory". I asked to add a package and he said it was too late because the order was already at the factory. Can anybody give me an estimate on the build time based on that info?

I tried calling the 800-501-2682 number and they said they are marketing and don't have the info I asked for but gave me a Saturn Customer Service number of 800-553-6000 ext 3, which they said could help me with my Order Status Event Code if I called back during business hours M-F. I'll try that tomorrow.

Nothing jt. I tried that number and they send me back to the retailer. Thanks for posting though.

Yea, it didn't work for me either....they told me to go back to my dealer and actually connected me to them. The dealer told me in went "into production" the week of 9/17 (last week) but that was before the **strike**. Now that that is over, we'll see what happens, I am going to call again tomorrow for an update.

Arrived at the dealer on Friday 30th. Pick it up on Monday.
Ordered on Aug 16th, so total time was about 6 weeks.

This is a really nice car.

Just picked our '08 AWD Midnight Blue XR on Saturday, October 13. Placed order on September 10 and it arrived at the dealer on October 12. Got here so fast it surprised the dealer. Guess that 3rd shift is helping things.

So far, we love it!

23 days for us from order to delivery at the dealer.....but we had insider help at GM ;D

Ordered 10/16, produced 10/28, delivered ? Only 1.5 hours from factory. :thumb:

Ordered mine from London, Ontario, Canada friday Dec. 28th 2008 and was told maybe 8 weeks but will probably be closer to 10 weeks.Iam guessing because of xmas shutdown will be 10 weeks.
