I have a 2009 outlook that has a error on dash saying reduced power. it started the other day when I had problems with the suv wouldn't start after filling up the tank. After a few pumps of the gas pedal and few try's it started. now it has this error. Has anyone had this problem?

Had that problem a lot this winter, in fact a lot of us had it as well, the throttle body was freezing up. I doubt that yours is freezing though.. You should open up your air intake snorkel and check to see if your throttle body is clean and moves freely. This would be my first check. Don't try to move it with ignition switch on though. Find threads on throttle body cleaning if you need to clean.
Do you have a check engine light as well? You can have a CEL read at an Auto Zone or similar shop, then check the code to investigate further.

sounds like you may have 2 problems.

1-Dirty throttle body
2-the issue of overfilling the gas tank-- which leads to a bad purge valve.

1)can be fixed for about $5.
2)about $30 and 10 min of your time.

here or the Acadia/Traverse forum
search for HOW TO throttle body
and
Purge valve change

If these 2 simple fixes dont work-- something else may be up..

but these are cheap and simple to do-- that would be my 1st steps.
