Washed my Outlook today and I noticed the right rear end cap for the chrome roof rack was GONE! Haven't a clue as to what happened. The one on the left seems loose. Has anyone else lost this part?

Just looked at mine both rear are a little loose the front are not as bad.

Mine are a little loose as well, like they slide back and forth maybe a 1/8" or so. They have done that ever since new. They look like they snap in or something, I think that they would need to get reefed on to pop out. ???

When I took delivery of mine the left end cap was missing. We never noticed it until the last minute. A tech took one off another Outlook and we were on our way. It seems like these things are not held on very well. A good item to keep an eye on when washing etc.

After my last post I went out and looked at mine a little closer. There is a hole on the side of it and if you push it in with a screwdriver it will release a clip and the thing come right off, kind of cheesy, so now I think that if the clip in there was off just a little bit it would not take much for them to fall off. The good thing is that there is adjustment from side to side on the clip so you can get it as tight as possible. I think that the dealer would give you a new one, I know that I'll be keeping an eye on mine now.
