I just checked on our 08 Outlook, if you don't wear your belt (we always do) you can pull it all the way out and route it behind the seat and buckle it and leave it there. Wanted to make sure it was long enough, and it is. I wouldn't just unplug something, don't know if it affects the air bag, especially on the passenger side where it senses a person in the seat.
Seatbelt Chime
I know on my two other vehicles that there is a way to disable the seatbelt chime. In both of them it was a series of clicking and unclicking the seatbelt in a certain sequence. In both of the vehicles the manual told you how to do this. In the manual for the outlook, there is no mention of this. Does anyone know how to disarm the seatbelt chime or is it not possible on the 2008 models. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
