So last week my information center displays a message that tells me to service my airbag. It stays on for about 3 to 5 min and goes off. About 3 days later it comes back on, this time for hours...but turns off. Then it comes back on and stays on. I took it to the dealer and asked them to fix it. while I was waiting for my service advisor to write up the tag, I overhear a lady in an 08 Outlook just like mine with the same exact problem. Great!! I thought it was some other crazy problem that will have my car in the shop for a week or two. Turns out its the wiring harness below the drivers seat. It is too short and when you move the seat up and back, it becomes loose and unplugs. They re-routed the cable harness, and voila...it is fixed.
