Well, since I have reached the 100k crew I think I feel the rear shocks being a little spongy over certain bumps. I was trolling the internet for pricing and ideas on replacements and was dumbfounded to find that no one offers replacements for these vehicles other than AC Delco. I'm not saying I am opposed to slapping on OE stuff, just was looking to see what else it out there.

HEHE-- I ran into the same issue. Im only at 39000... But I was curious and looked around--- and found what you did...

I even posted this on the Traverse forum....

I changed the title of this thread (used to say-- Anyone nitice we dont have rear shocks)

I was answering a question on the Acadia forum.
looked up info for Struts..
I noticed ACDELCO does not list rear shocks... hmmmmm
Considering im down there so often I never bothered to look for shocks in the rear.
I looked at my pics--- sure enough- I dont see any.
You guys see any?

Yeah I did see that other link before but I already knew we had rear shocks because I saw them when doing a brake job. I just find it odd that no one offers replacements especially since AC Delco doesn't make their own shocks.

@ponchonutty, have you called your local shops that specialize in the shocks field to see what information they have to offer about where you can get these?

Yup. GM parts only are available @ $174.55 a piece for the front struts and $76 a piece for rear shocks. Then I have labor and alignment with a total of about $750  Worried about putting that much coin down on OEM replacements where I've heard many having issues with them leaking and going bad early. I guess I will have to bite the bullet though because mine are shot and on some roads I am white knuckling it.
