hello,

i am from germany.
i bought a outlook xr last year in orlando.
now i am driving the first outlook here in germany.
a lot of people ask me about the car and like the style and the price of the car.

now my question:
the car has a speed limit, i think it is 100 miles a hour.
ist it possible to turn off that speed limit or change it to maby 120 miles???

is there some one who can help me??

There was someone from the Middle East asking the same question on acadiaforum.net. I believe he said the max speed was limited to 118 MPH. You might want to search over there to see the answer.

buster951, That's not bad at all considering that we have to pay $735.00 just two hours away from where they make them. Do you have Saturn/Opel dealers in Germany? Where do you plan to take it for service and warrenty work? Enjoy tour new Outlook :thumb:

Not without reprogramming the vehicle; good luck finding someone to do that ;D

Changing the speed limit can be done with a HP tuner. I have such a device and use it on my 2003 Buick Regal GSX to adjust shift points and fuel trims , also things liek keeping the engine fans on after the car is shut off.
