Saturn has an all-new Outlook

The ideal crossover for the modern mom, Saturn's new 8-passenger Outlook blends luxury, style and substance.

The anti-minivan mom's dream, the Outlook packs three passenger rows and still offers ample storage...and when you fold down the third row, you've got enough room for a double-stroller, the kids' bikes and more.

Style

The Outlook certainly skews to the larger end of the crossover spectrum - it's more of a sleek, urban SUV with the sensibility of a minivan.

Real World Performance

Though it weighs over 4,700 pounds (on par with standard minivans), the Outlook offers a smooth ride with ample pickup. And, considering it's heft, its fuel economy proved much better than expected (and, according to official data, the Outlook's fuel economy is far better than others in its class).

Comfort

Unlike most three-row passenger vehicles, the Outlook's third
set of seats comfortably accomodates adults (perfect for when the grandparents are in town or when you're driving on girls' night out!) with good head and legroom. Plus, despite the car's size, my 5' 3" frame never felt overwhelmed.

What I Liked Best: The Outlook proved to be a pleasant surprise with its comfort, luxury styling and high-quality navigation system. My favorite feature, though, is the one-touch open (and close) trunk - with a 2-year old in one arm and bags of groceries (or, ideally, brand new shoes!) in the other, the rear-door button made unloading much more managable.
