Has anyone been towing a travel trailer with Outlook ? I am very interested in the overall experience as well as how the TOW mode works under the load.

Stephbowl, I am very eager to hear from you - I tow a very similar TT - Bantam 19 ! I bet you had zero sway with your Outlook and a very firm tow (based on the wheelbase/TT length ratio) ?

I towed a utility trailer with a 4 wheeler in it and had no problem. I'm here in AR and towed it from my in-laws to my house. Some pretty big hills, but still, the Outlook had no problems. I think I preferred the tow/haul mode off rather than using it on the big hills, it kept wanting to downshift when it really didn't need to. I'll be moving from AR to IL on the 24th of this month and I'll be towing a 5x8 covered utility trailer that will be loaded down pretty good, I'll let you know how it does on a 6 hour haul.

I J33, first, excuse my english i usually speak french, i am from Quebec. We had a really great experience towing our travel trailer. Our "Outloook" is a XE FWD. As told in the book, i take it easy to ride because the car is new and i don't want to damage motor or transmission. But my first impression is more stability than our "JEEP LIBERTY" but maybe a little less torque. I downshift once in manual mode because it was to long in automatic position, but i drive most of the ride in auto mode with towing fonction on.
Hope this will help you and open if you have questions. Stephbowl
