Hey. Just picked up a 2008 Outlook XE a couple weeks ago and I'm really enjoying it. (I'm a little surprised...I usually drive V8 rear-wheel drive performance sedans and could not stand going to a minivan). I got some great Winter tires and steel rims but didn't get TPMS sensors. After dropping off the regular rims in the garage, the light activated for a short while, went off by the next street over and then stayed off for the next week and a half during normal use. I thought maybe the system knew there were no sensors and went inactive, but now it's coming on and staying on and I'm getting the DIC message. Is there any way around this other than getting sensors?
Also, anyone installed factory style foglights? The Acadia guys seem to think you can install the factory dash switch (wires right up, recognizes and the instrument cluster light works) and my parts guy says the wiring should be there (splits off from the back of the lights in the lower fascia). Lastly, what kind of range are people getting? Mine seems inordinately low, although it's cold and snowy now.
Cheers,
Cam
