New to the site.
First of all, appoligies all around if this has been posted before.
I replaced the rear diff 75W90 fluid with about 0.8 of a liter of fluid until it started to seep out the fill plug while on level ground. no problem!
Transfer case...had to put vehicle on ramps to get access to the plugs. I PUMPED IN ABOUT THE SAME AMOUNT of fluid into the transfer case as the rear diff but since it was up on ramps i could not guage quantity by letting it seep out of fill hole....
QUESTION...WHAT IF THERE IS A LITTLE BIT MORE FLUID (5-10 ML) IN THE TRANSFER CASE THAN SPECIFIED??

The dealerships up here want $160 to do the rear diff, $160 for the transfer case and $300 to flush and fill the tranny....ridiculous!!

Thanks everyone

The transfer case takes the same amount of fluid as the rear diff. As long as all the old fluid came out with being angled on the ramps instead of being level, you did just fine.
5-10ml is a very small amount so I would not worry about that at all.
