I stumbled upon this earlier today while I was adjusting the EQ while using the aux input for my MP3 player. When I went to adjust the levels I thought, *what the ...* when I noticed they weren't where I left them after adjusting them for the CD player. So, I quickly went through all other sources to find them still in their default settings - which explained why when changing to and from CD I would have to adjust the volume to compensate for the difference.

So, I thought I would post this - after verifying with the manual - for anyone who has not yet realized this feature.

Yes...it's a common feature on many stereos, but you wouldn't be the first to have a "Huh?" moment when cycling through things and wondering why 1) a different source doesn't sound right, and 2) those settings are then different.

Unless you know about it before (I'm familiar with it) or read the manual before you set anything up...I imagine it's a common thing many never know about.
