Want to Unlock all doors with on push of button

On my Saab 9-2x, I wired the door locks so that when I hit the unlock button once, all the doors unlock.Has anybody done this, or know what wires and where they might be, that I would need to splice together?

I would first check the DIC settings. In the XR, I am sure you can program the doors to all un-lock or the drivers side only.

I have the XE and don't have the Advance DIC settings. Any more info is appreciated.

Yeah, this is something that is always DIC controlled in new GM vehicles. Not exactly something you could just "wire"...it's more of a computer programming thing.

Unless you add the DIC buttons (which has actually been done, but doesn't seem to work unless you also get the PCM flashed for something else afterwards...at least for one person), there's really no way to say what could be done as far as physically hacking something.

Could this be done through the OBD plug, by the dealer?

The signal still has to be sent through a wire, I would just need to splice the wire that send the signal to the driver door to the wire that controls the other doors. The dealer owes me a huge favor, so I may ask them if they might know.

Want to Unlock all doors with one push of button

Old thread I know but curious if anyone has ever found a hack or reprogram to do this?

I've always found the double click to unlock all doors and the lift gate a minor irritant. Many times time the second click doesn't register and my family is standing there waiting for the doors to unlock.
