Wife is coming home from work and park assit comes on display then a/c and radio goes out then all gauges and finally the entire car. Car sits waiting on AAA for the fourth time since September and now it starts and all is normal. It still gets towed in to dealer anyway. Don't think its coming home this time we play travel ball and we cant trust it to make it to work and back. So does anyone know what the lemon law is in N.C the dealer wont talk to me about it. :banghead:

A lot of lemon laws pertain to how many times within a specific period your vehicle was in for repair of the same problem and is also based as to how long you have owned the vehicle.

Here us the link for the lemon law in the state of North Carolina.

Well dealer said it water intrusion from stationary window (water leak rear moon roof) says all wiring and carpet needs replaced because of mold. Cost 1000.00 dollars and the warranty wont cover any of it. How can they not cover a known defect with the car. This thing is going away ASAP not upset because of car but for lack of GM backing of their cars. This should be a safety recall on all of them. The sales manager going to make a few calls but not looking good... :angryfire:

Water leaks from the sunroof/moonroof and other areas has plagued the Outlook, Acadia, Enclave and Traverse since day one. There are thousands of posts through all 4 forums discussing this issue.

Actually some had thought the leaks were solved but there is a report/post of a 2013 Enclave experiencing the water leaks as well.

That is why when we unloaded...errr....traded in the 07 Outlook on the 11 Enclave I said NOPE NOPE NOPE to any more sunroofs and such.

Good luck.

They have a 09 arcadia with all the same options even the same color they trying to work out a deal with us on. It has no sunroof and 15,000 less miles. Think it would be ok or am I getting into another problem car? She really like the layout and drive but sorta scared of these cars now.

make sure the DIC has been reprogrammed-- and that the timing chains have been replaced.
What year was your Outlook--? also an 09?

Agree with rbarrios. Have them run a vehicle report showing what work was performed and if the vehicle was in an accident would be wise to get a carfax report.

No sunroof/moonroof...best thing ever.

Good luck.
