My Outlook was very stable in the central Pennsylvania snow storms last winter. The only time I had a problem was driving in 10 inches of unplowed snow (that other vehicles had run thru already).
I live at the top of a hill and had to turn the traction control off to get up the hill because the wheels spun somewhat. The traction control put the brakes on automatically to the spinning wheels. I didn't want brakes on going uphill.
I wouldn't recommend driving in that much snow and wouldn't have myself except I was trying to get home and out of the storm.
